Let little kids “help” with cooking by placing the mixing bowl on the open dishwasher door | Parent Hacks.

Wowsa. What an awesome idea! Place the mixing bowl on the opened door. Any flour, sugar, etc. that gets flung out of the bowl during enthusiastic stirring gets cleaned up by just closing the dishwasher door.
