Percentage of vulnerable children on the rise in B.C. kindergartens – UBC study.
From the Vancouver Sun.
Incredibly, the percentage of children entering kindergarten who are deemed vulnerable in at least one aspect (from physical to cognitive to communication skills) has RISEN from 28% to over 30%.
The government’s goal was to have it decreased to 15% by 2015.
Lots of work ahead.
